Wheelchair users

Are you visiting Stadsschouwburg Antwerpen with a wheelchair? We do everything we can to make your visit as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a host(ess) who will guide you to the elevator. Together, you’ll go up to the first floor, where the wheelchair spaces and accessible restrooms are located. Before the performance and during the intermission, you can also enjoy a drink or snack at the Verona bar on this floor. After the performance, only the ground-floor foyer is open, but of course we’ll gladly assist you in getting there.

There are designated spaces for wheelchair users and their companions. These spots are limited, so we recommend booking in advance.

Wheelchair spaces cannot be booked online. Please reserve them by phone at +32 (0)3 400 40 41 or via the contact form. For safety reasons, it is not possible for wheelchair users to book regular seats.

Each wheelchair user is provided with one companion seat. We are happy to check whether exceptions are possible, for example to seat families together. Please note that this cannot always be guaranteed.

Visitors with reduced mobility can use the elevator to access their seats.
