The super powerful cast will again include participation by the multi-awarded ballet dancers.

Some of the most challenging moments from 'Swan Lake', 'The Sleeping Beauty' and 'The Nutcracker' of Tchaikovsky, 'Carmen' of Bizet, 'The Dying Swan of Saint-Saëns and much more from the eternal ballet-classic are presented, showcasing the skills of the corps de ballet and the stars in equal measure: the soloists of the International Festival Ballet.

Normunds Vaicis conducts some of the musical highlights from the crème de la crème of the ballet music, all of which hold a high place in the hearts and minds of ballet fans.

Jewels of music and dance in the setting of the third act of Swan Lake: Prince Siegfried's birthday celebrations take place in the palace hall, a veritable tourbillon of dances, from Czardas to Spanish, Neapolitan and Mazurka, all culminating in the famous pas de deux of the 'Black Swan' with the company's talented solo dancers. Another homage to Tchaikovsky appears as if by magic: Aurora and her four princes in the immortal 'Rose Adagio', which combines both dreamy sweetness and technical strength and is one of the most difficult choreographic passages in 'Sleeping Beauty', alongside the pas de deux of the 'Blue Bird' and the pas de deux from the second act of 'The Nutcracker'.

The Gala, which continues to be one of the world’s most talked about ballet events, will be accompanied by the Festival Orchestra.
