St. Petersburg is cradle of the famous Russian ballet created by Marius Petipa in 19th. St. Petersburg Festival Ballet was created in 2009 to represent the best traditions and spirit of St. Petersburg ballet.
Many of the artists in this premier ensemble are recruited from The Vaganova School in St. Petersburg which embodies all the elements of classic ballet.
The costumes and scenery of the Festival Ballet emulate the heritage and royal splendor of the past, while the unforgettable performances combine strict classical elegance with twenty first century modernity.

HUNGARY FESTIVAL ORCHESTRA, Music director & conductor Vadim Nikitin
The Hungary Festival Orchestra was founded in 2005 by the talented musician Yaroslava Šimonova, who is also it´s director. The artistic director and conductor is a famous conductor from St. Petersburg, Maestro Vadim Nikitin. The repertoire of the orchestra includes works by Ravel, Debussy, Rimsky-Korsakov, Tchaikovsky, Massenet, Faure and Albegis, Gounod and others. Still, the main focus of the orchestra’s repertoire is the music of classical ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Don Quixote and many others. Throughout their creative activity, the orchestra has collaborated with renowned ballet groups from Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. The orchestra is performing with great success in France, Great Britain, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg and other European countries, having gained the reputation as one of the best ballet orchestras in Europe, despite its relatively small line-up. The orchestra includes musicians who also collaborate with the best orchestras of Russia and Hungary. Next time, they are going to play exclusively Russian ballet seasons for the well-known ballet group “St. Petersburg Festival Ballet “in Belgium, France, Luxemburg, Germany and Austria, Scandinavia and Baltic countries.
